Communicating with a Lady
|
| Write or e-mail to all
ladies in whom you are interested. You may like one
lady's photo over another, however, after contacting her,
you may receive additional photos which are much better than
the original published on our web site. Additionally,
the e-mail or letter you receive from a lady may change your
interest in her. The more e-mail's or letters you
send, the greater chances for a response. If you are
very interested, write several e-mail's or letters without
waiting for a response. |
| Advise the lady that you
are a client of South Of The Border Introductions and that
you are interested in communicating with her. Indicate
you were impressed with her photo and biographical information.
Enclose a quality recent photo of yourself with your e-mail
or letter. |
| Personalize your e-mail
or letter. Tell her about yourself, including your occupation,
hobbies, and interests. You may also describe your country
and the city you live in. Use easily translated words
not to overburden her with a complicated translation.
Later, as you establish communication, your e-mail's or letters
can become more detailed. |
| It is not necessary or
recommended to discuss your economic status or what material
possessions you have. Let her be interested in you as
a person. |
| Ask her hobbies, interests,
family, country, and city. Latin women are very family
oriented and by being interested in her family you will gain
respect. Discuss items from her biographical profile
in which you share a common interest and request a recent
photograph. |
| Avoid discussing the politics
of your individual countries in your initial e-mail's or letters.
Focus on positive issues and interests. Most importantly,
avoid discussing previous relationships with other women.
Many Latin women are not interested in hearing about other
ladies in your life. |
| Finally, upon receiving
a response from a lady, respond immediately and often.
By contacting you, she has expressed a sincere interest.
Be both tenacious and patient. |
| Above all be very honest,
sincere, and respectful. |
|
Mail Service |
| If you choose to send
anything of value (it is not recommended to send cash by mail),
send it by Registered Mail from the Post Office. The
cost is approximately $8.00. Your local Post Office
can provide more detailed information on mail service to Latin
American. Additionally, Federal Express, DHL, or UPS
may offer express delivery service. |

to most Central and South American countries. Check with your
local travel agent. |
|
Room/Food |
| A room with air conditioning
ranges from $40.00 to $100.00 per night. Breakfast or
lunch approximately $3.00 and dinner approximately $6.00. |
|
Documents Needed |
| Generally, a passport
is all that is needed. However, contact your airline
before you travel for additional information on required travel
documents. It takes several weeks to process a passport
application, so make sure you apply early. Applications
may be obtained from your local Post Office. Also, you
may want to check with your local Health Department to find
out what immunizations are recommended for the country you
are visiting. |
|
Visiting A Lady |
| Make sure you have the
required travel documents including passport, airline ticket,
hotel reservations, etc. Credit cards are widely accepted
in Central and South America and, in some cases, are preferred.
We also recommend obtaining a copy of the book Lonely
Planet - Travel Survival Kit for the country you are
visiting. You may obtain this book at your local bookstore
and should prove to be a valuable source of information.
You may also want to obtain the Berlitz Spanish Phrase Book
and Dictionary or even an electronic translator. |

Bringing A Lady To Your Country |
| The lady will have to
apply for a visa before she can visit or you can apply for
a fiancee visa. The three types of visas available are
tourist, fiancee, and spousal. Some of the ladies already
have tourist visas. Fiancee visas (depending on your
country) require you to marry a lady within a certain period
of time after arrival in your country or she must return to
her country. You can also marry a lady in her country
or yours and she can apply for a spousal visa.
It is suggested that you contact your country's Department
of Immigration for information. |
